SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT
HISTORY
The Cultural Diversity Foundation sponsors an annual fundraising event, the Educational Taste of Excellence: Wine Tasting, Spirits & Jazz.
The Cultural Diversity Foundation (CDF) and the Cultural Diversity Scholarship Committee have planned this multicultural gala as a way to raise funding to help students achieve their educational goals and to recognize scholarship recipients for their academic achievement in higher education.
From 1996 to 2009, the fundraiser has grossed over $800,000 in revenue and in-kind services and awarded over 95 scholarships ranging from $500 to $4000. In addition, we had over 85 businesses participate in the event.
Partial fundraiser proceeds were used to fund scholarships sponsored by the CDF for students to attend the college or professional school of their choice.
SPONSORSHIP
You or your business/organization can help the Cultural Diversity Foundation (CDF) achieve its goals of raising $250,000 in funding and awarding scholarships for several students to attend the college of their choice by becoming a CDF sponsor. We offer several levels of sponsorship, each with its own set of benefits.
Sponsorship of this event would give your organization the opportunity to be recognized as a corporate sponsor and expose itself to potential customers who can remember, and will hopefully ask for your business when your kind of services are needed. Your organization could also underwrite a scholarship through the Cultural Diversity Foundation, which is another venue for great exposure.
Additionally, you will receive the long-term benefits of increased awareness of your organization and its services, the indelible impression of your commitment to the community, and the achievement of students seeking educational and professional development.
