18th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser
The 18th annual Educational Taste of Excellence: Wine Tasting, Spirits & Jazz event will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the World Market Center, Atrium B from 6 pm -10 pm. The event is sponsored by Caesars Entertainment, Lee's Discount Liquor, and Southern Wine & Spirits of Nevada. Tickets are $60.00 in advance, $70.00 at the door. Champagne Toast: An Educational "Toast" to Excellence will take place at the beginning of the event.
Wine Tasting & Food Paring Guests will be dressed in understated elegant evening attire while sampling over 110 domestic and imported
wines from over 25 wineries that are paired with food prepared by University of Las Vegas Hospitality Program, We Love Sushi, Wild Truffles Catering, Via Brasil, Rachel's Kitchen, and Buca de Beppo.
Live and Silent Auction: Guests will have the opportunity
to bid on items donated by various hotels & casinos, airlines,
restaurants, golf and ski resorts, etc.
Live Jazz: Brother's Ali
Hors D'oeuvres: Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and cheeses that compliment the wines.
Scholarship Recipients: Scholarship recipients will be introduced
and recognized for their academic achievement.
