The 14th annual Educational Taste of Excellence: Wine Tasting, Spirits & Jazz event will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Paris Las vegas, Champagne Ballroom from 6-10 pm. The event is sponsored by Harrah's Entertainment, Lee's Discount Liquor, and Southern Wine & Spirits of Nevada. Tickets are $50.00 in advance, $55.00 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online, and will be available at Lee's Discount Liquor in February or by calling CDF at (702) 646-2615.
Fundraiser Highlights
Wine Tasting: Guests will be dressed in understated elegant evening attire while sampling over 110 domestic and imported wines from over 25 wineries
Art display: A variety of artwork from nationally and internationally known artists will be displayed at the event.
Live and Silent Auction: Guests will be given the opportunity to bid on items donated by various hotels & casinos, airlines, restaurants, golf and ski resorts, etc.
Live Jazz: Guests will be entertained by live jazz artists.
Hors D'oeuvres: Guests will enjoy a cornucopia of hors d'oeuvres and cheeses that compliment the wines.
Scholarship Recipients: Guests will meet the scholarship recipients who will be introduced and recognized for their excellence in education.

You or your business/organization can help the Cultural Diversity Foundation (CDF) achieve its goals of raising $250,000 in funding and awarding scholarships for several students to attend the college of their choice by becoming a CDF sponsor.
